Pricing, redefined

Why We Built Coinvert

The internet is priced in fiat by default - but that’s not how everyone sees value. Coinvert was built for users who think in crypto terms. Whether you track SOL daily or just want better context for what you're spending, Coinvert helps you translate the internet into something native.

Used by crypto traders, Web3 builders, and everyday users who want more transparency.

Repricing the Web

What Coinvert Aims to Do

Coinvert was created to help users navigate the internet through a Solana-native lens.
By replacing fiat with real-time ◎ equivalents, it reframes how you see cost, value, and purchasing power - transparently, instantly, and without tracking.

  • How much is this really in SOL?

  • Does this still feel worth it in crypto?

  • Would I pay this if I saw it as ◎0.43?

  • What’s my real purchasing power?

  • Does this change how I budget?

  • Is this easier to justify in USD?

  • Does this look cheaper than it is?

  • Is this making me more aware of value?

Built for users

Coinvert’s Privacy & Data Policy

Details on how Coinvert works and what it doesn’t do.

Does Coinvert collect any personal data?

No. Coinvert does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. All functionality happens locally in your browser.

Does Coinvert track my browsing activity?

No. Coinvert does not track or record any websites you visit or any interactions you make. It only reads visible text on the page for currency values - nothing else.

What information does Coinvert access?

Coinvert accesses webpage content only to detect and convert fiat currency values into their SOL equivalents. It does not access form fields, inputs, credentials, or personal information.

Does Coinvert send data to external servers?

The only external request Coinvert makes is a public API call to CoinGecko to fetch real-time Solana prices. This request does not include any user-specific data.

Why does Coinvert request “host permissions” or <all_urls>?

This permission is required so Coinvert can detect and convert currency values on any website you visit. The extension does not collect or store any data from those sites — it simply reads visible prices and replaces them with SOL equivalents.

Where are my settings stored?

Your preferences (like dark mode or tooltip visibility) are stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s secure storage API. This data is never synced, sent, or accessed by Coinvert developers.

Does Coinvert use cookies or analytics?

No. Coinvert does not use cookies, fingerprinting, analytics, or any tracking technologies.

Is Coinvert compliant with Chrome Web Store privacy policies?

Yes. Coinvert complies with all Chrome Web Store developer requirements, including the Limited Use policy. It does not collect or transfer user data for any purpose.
